One spring afternoon at a local Starbucks, a very determined mom walked up to Andrea, introduced herself, and confidently announced that she needed to meet her son, Alejandro. Naturally, a selfie was taken and sent to Alejandro on Instagram with the caption "your mom makes a great wing woman"...because nothing says romance like mom a approved DM. At the time, Alejandro was working in New York City before heading back to Michigan to finish up law school in the fall, while Andrea was living her best life as a recent NYC transplant. Despite the distance (and several long drives with Millie in tow), they started hanging out, laughing a lot, and realizing this might actually be something serious. After graduating (GO BLUE!), Alejandro moved back to New York, where the two officially became inseparable (there was no where else to go in their tiny studio apartment). What started as a Starbucks introduction turned into a full-blown love story, proof that sometimes moms really do know best. Now, Andrea and Alejandro are planning their wedding and can’t wait to celebrate with all of you… and yes, his mom still takes full credit.
