Are my children allowed to attend the wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that our wedding and reception be an adults-only celebration. While we love all your little ones, we hope you understand that this is a special occasion for us to share with our adult friends and family. However, to accommodate our guests with children, the venue offers professional child care services on-site during the event. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please contact the front desk in advance so arrangements can be made.

What should I wear?

Answer

Welcome Party: Garden Attire - We suggest light, airy dresses or skirts, floral prints, pastel shades, or elegant jumpsuits for a fresh, garden-friendly look. A light wrap or cardigan is recommended for the evening breeze. For gentlemen, linen or cotton shirts (button-down or polo) paired with chinos or dress pants are perfect for the setting. Wedding: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. All colors are welcome—except white, of course—and we encourage bright attire! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will all take place outdoors, so feel free to bring a jacket or shawl in case the evening gets cool. And don’t forget your dancing shoes!

Will transportation be provided?

We’re thrilled to have guests joining us from near and far! There are several transportation options available for getting to Toledo. We recommend flying into Madrid (MAD) and arranging a shuttle directly to Cigarral de las Mercedes. Alternatively, there are convenient train services from Madrid’s airport to Toledo. For additional assistance with transportation to the venue, please feel free to contact Cigarral de las Mercedes directly—they’ll be happy to help with arrangements! Events: All events will take place on-site and are easily accessible from the hotel rooms. For guests who may need assistance getting to the wedding ceremony, golf carts will be available for your convenience.

What time should I arrive to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you make your way to the ceremony area (El Mirador) 20–30 minutes early to find your seat and allow time for the bridal party’s arrival.
