We're getting married!

It all started when Adam transferred to Uvalde High School for sophomore year. I was prepared for another boring year when Adam caught my eye in the hall outside of our English class. Whispers ran through the hall as everyone admired the "cute new guy". Adam, being nervous for his first day at a new school, did not even look up from his desk. I spent some time wondering who he was and wanting to get to know him. Thanks to an amazing algebra teacher who sat us together, I got to do just that. One of our first interactions aside from the occasional "hey" was filling up pages in a notebook with all of the fast food restaurants we could think of. (Amazingly enough, Adam still has that journal to this day). Sophomore year ended and we were finally friends. A summer of chatting and getting to know each other lead us to our Junior year of high school where we would be put in the same English class once again. Our friendship grew and we talked more and more and with each day that passed, I liked him more and more. I thought I was trapped in the friend zone until one day in the midst of an English review for a quiz, I briefly mentioned wanting to learn how to drive a tractor and that I thought it would be so cool to know how to drive one. Later that night, Adam texted me saying he could teach me how to drive a tractor and asked me out for the following Friday night. I felt like I was flying and my heart did leaps in my chest! The next Friday came way too slow but alas, I found myself sitting in the passenger seat of the Jeep, going on my very first date with the boy I would marry 5 1/2 years later. The date was something out of a fairy tale an he actually recreated stargazing as part of his proposal! It was the most perfect story and I wouldn't have it any other way!
