A sign of the times, we met on a dating site in the middle of a pandemic. We bonded over our shared pop culture and music interests, as well as our love for Knaus Berry Farm's cheese rolls. As we continued to get to know one another, our low expectations (dating sites suck!) were quickly changed, solidifying that love comes when you least expect it!

In total Andres fashion, our proposal coincided with Super Bowl Sunday. In what has been one of the most romantic gestures to date for us, we got engaged surrounded by two of our favorite things, sports and family. We kind of forgot about the game afterwards, and celebrated with family and several tequila shots! The Super Bowl has definitely taken on a new meaning for us!
