Our story differs based on who tells it. Andrene will tell you that she went to a church program, upon invitation from a friend. Then Kadrian introduced himself after, and subtly expressed interest. Kadrian will tell you that he was peacefully worshiping at his church when Andrene came to check him out. The reality is that we were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, who had hopes that we would hit it off. That didn't work out so well and we went our separate ways. Months later when Andrene sent out information about her upcoming mission trip to her contact list, Kadrian responded to find out more. One conversation led to another and we soon found common ground. Quickly our long chats and playful banter developed into a friendship, fueled by our passion for God's work, and our shared cultural heritage. As our attraction to each other blossomed, we found ourselves wanting to spend more time together, and ventured out on a journey that brought us to the place of desiring to spend our forever with each other.
