We’re getting married!

Magaly and Andrei had mutual friends throughout all of high school, yet they never crossed paths until Winter of 2016. The new group of friends that formed during this time was almost inseparable, and a connection between Andrei and Magaly was inevitable. Although there was a mutual interest developed by summer of 2016, Magaly and Andrei were hesitant about seeing what a relationship could look like as they were both set to attend different colleges. It took some pushing from their friends, but Andrei finally worked up the courage to ask Magaly on a date, and it was a push that would send them down the next half decade together. The two would be separated almost from the beginning of their relationship as Andrei studied at LMU and Magaly at a CC in the valley. This commute to see each other was just the tip of the iceberg for their long distance journey, as Magaly eventually transferred to UC San Diego, and increased their separation by another hour and 100 miles. They spent years juggling time for school ,their families, friends, themselves and their relationship. After graduating college, Magaly settled down in San Diego and Andrei explored different job options within his field. One of these jobs would send him to Arizona for a few months, once again lengthening the distance between the two. Although the distance was long, the love only grew stronger. It was this experience that gave Andrei the push to plan a proposal as he decided he no longer wanted to be away from Magaly. It took a few months, but Andrei was able to find a job in San Diego and on February 20th 2022, Andrei made the easiest decision of his life and asked Magaly to marry him. (And to his luck she accepted) The story continues November 5th, where Andrei and Magaly will begin the rest of their lives together as husband and wife, starting the next chapter in their story that will no doubt be the best one yet.
