Andreea's side of the story: On my first day at a new job, I brought in some cookies to break the ice. He was the only one that didn't have any! He said he was too busy working and I kinda rolled my eyes at his seriousness. Sometimes, I would ask him to join me and rest of the team for lunch but he would seldom do. I did take it personally for a while, but then again he had a pretty annoying voice so I thought, his loss, my gain. Once, when he did finally come for lunch, he stole my hummus. It was kinda funny, kinda not, but we started clicking over the empty starter plate. And by dessert, I started to quite like his voice. Later, post-hummus, he took me to Hampstead and in a very romantic spot he asked if I want to give us a go? And I guess we did :) He's my best friend, my mountain, the love of my life, but he's not my other half. He's my other full. We always buy 2 full pots of hummus. --------- Josh's side of the story: Her first day, she comes into the office in a bright salmon pink skirt, bright yellow blazer and cookies decorated on brand! Of course, I was too busy (grumpy) to pay much attention to this peculiar foreigner, I didn’t even know what she was hired for. Some time later, after I’d gotten over her weird looking food she was bringing for lunch, I found myself thinking that this girl is pretty cool to hang out with. I decided to ask her out on a date. We went for a walk around Hampstead Heath, and got lost in converation for hours. I’d never met anyone like Andreea, she was different and quickly became my best friend. We talked about anything and everything. From watching the clouds float across the sky, to how we were going to conquer the world together. I knew she was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with, my soulmate, my wife.
