We recommend renting an Airbnb for your stay. There are so many rentals in the Breckenridge area. If you would like to stay within walking distance to downtown here are a few hints. All the action runs along Main Street, North to South. The main area is South of the turnabout at Route 9/North Park Avenue down Main Street to Broken Lance Drive/Boreas Pass Road. There are many rentals on 4 O'clock Road which we enjoyed last year.
