Maid of Honor
We've been inseparable since 9 years old. Although we look nothing alike, we've been asked our whole lives if we are sisters... We've dreamed of our wedding days since little girls, and have been by each other's side for all of the little and monumental moments. Whenever we're together, we celebrate our lifelong friendship with a lavish meal that includes steak, oysters, and champagne while talking each other's ears off of course.
Best Man
We met in elementary and quickly became best buds due to our love of pranking & joking around. We were very much like brother's from the day we met - wrestling in the school yard one minute than laughing about it the next. Today Pat and I remain close friends and I am lucky enough to be the godfather of his two beautiful girls.
Maid of Honor
We've been in each other's lives since elementary school, but became the best of friends in high school. Our nicknames are "Sneggie" - don't ask...We've got that kind of friendship that's more like a sisterhood, and feel thankful for that often. We love to laugh, cuddle, sing-along to musicals, and talk straight up with each other always.
Best Man
Ben and I met at Pine Lake Day Camp in Stern Grove when we were in 3rd grade. We bonded over our love for baseball and quickly became attached at the hip - spending all our time either talking Giants baseball or playing strikeouts. Not much has changed in the last 25 years, we still have the same brotherly friendship that we developed then, we've just added beers to our hangouts.
Bridesmaid
My wild child, sister friend...whenever we're together it feels like no time has passed. We've also been besties since high school and boy, do we love to giggle & reminisce about the good ole' days. A typical hang out sesh with us will involve spontaneous adventure (and tad bit of trouble) while blasting our fav tunes. We can make ANYTHING a good time.
Groomsman
My friendship with Roger started a few years before I became a police officer. Our sense of humor has always been aligned and he really helped solidify my career choice to become an officer with the SFPD. He would share many perspectives of a cop's life with me throughout the years, then I was lucky enough to have him as my patrol partner when I first got to Bayview Station. I will always be grateful for his great advice and damn good jokes.
Bridesmaid
We've been deeply connected since our days on the high school dance team. She's been a part of my family since we were teens, and we share countless memories. She's the best girl's girl - always makes time for the friendship, gives the most thoughtful gifts, makes you feel like a queen, and will never sugar-coat her feelings on what really matters.
Groomsman
I 'adopted' Austin as my honorary little brother in the very early stages of my relationship with Simone; I saw how tight their sibling bond was and knew it was a must. I watched Austin grow through high school and now his 20's, always having great chats about life and sharing advice. I can't wait to officially be brothers in a few short months!
Bridesmaid
We share a special bond that encompasses cousin, sister, and friend all in one. We share a deep love for music and traditions that we could chat about for hours...She's the best cheerleader to have in your corner and is the makeup guru for any occasion!
Groomsman
Ken and I have been friends since middle school. We have shared just about every monumental moment in SF sports together over the last 15 years. From the Giants World Series', to the Warriors dynasty, to the rollercoaster ride that are the 49ers - I've seen it all with Ken (and more often than not, at the Valley Tavern).
Bridesmaid
We sat next to each other at college orientation and instantly hit it off, moments later we were signing paperwork to live together in a nearby apartment! Freshman year was a whirlwind, and we were by each other's side through it all. You can find us talking about the innate connection we've always shared and chuckling at the silly, bad choices we made back then.
Groomsman
I (obviously) met Jon at the same time and in the same fashion as I met Ben. Jon and I would often skip weekly field trips with the rest of the camp to stay back and play baseball instead. I was lucky enough to play baseball with Jon when we hit middle school and high school, which made us even closer friends. It was always a good time watching Jon with a big smirk on his face striking out batter after batter (setting school records that stand today), but boy it sure made playing 1st base boring.
Bridesmaid
We first met in a sorority at college, but our friendship has continued to evolve throughout our 20's. Our favorite ladies night involves a work out, Thai food and wine of course. We have the type of friendship where we can be content doing absolutely nothing together, because we just love each other's company. However, this girl is ALWAYS down for a good time, and loves to keep the party going with a little salsa dancing.
Groomsman
Steve is my cousin but has always been a brother to me. Steve and I grew up together going to Giants & 49ers games at Candlestick, going on family camping trips, and spending just about every weekend together. Today things are similar to when we were kids, but instead of camping trips we take Vegas trips, we still hit Giants and 49ers games of course, and sleep overs on weekends....well, they still happen occasionally when one of us has had one too many.
Bridesmaid
We met at a USF fashion show event, I was the planner and she was one of the models. We quickly became the best of friends and wanted to hang out always! You could find us bopping around the city for wine walks, dance classes and just about anything that involved good food. My heart was broken when she moved to NYC, but I continue to live vicariously through her adventurous soul and know our friendship knows no distance.
Groomsman
Chris, another cousin that feels more like a brother. We went through our childhood & teen years learning life at about the same time, since we were born only a week apart. We have the best memories as kids - week long sleepovers filled with mischief, trading baseball cards, playing any & every sport, and of course..scaring his little sister's until we got in major trouble. It was always worth it ;)
Bridesmaid
We oddly enough met on roommates.com...and she moved in on my 21st birthday, so it was a party from the get-go! Little did we know we'd go through many pivotal moments in our lives together that made us realize our friendship would be forever. You can find us cracking up over the questionable choices we made way back when and clinking glasses for how far we've come.
Groomsman
Glenn and I first met when I worked at the YMCA. Glenn had recently moved here from the Boston area, where he grew up. Naturally, we chatted often about Boston sports when at the gym together, which would always inevitably lead to a friendly bickering match about Tom Brady and Joe Montana. Glenn and I joined the SFPD around the same time and have grown even closer since.
Bridesmaid
We only met 2 years ago, but it feels like we've known each other for a lifetime. We realized our paths were destined to cross after a few short months of working together in the event's department for a hotel & restaurant - and quickly became glued at the hip. Our love for 'girl time', solid work ethic, beautiful cheese & charcuterie boards, decorating, and truly being a refuge for each other in every way is what I love most about our friendship that I'm sure will last forever.
Mother of the Groom
Not enough can be said about how special my mom is. It takes a lot for a woman to raise a man on her own and do it without skipping a beat of love and always with a smile on her face. My mom worked hard and sacrificed a lot to get me where I am today and I am eternally grateful to her for it. I love you Mom!
Father of the Bride
THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND. The actual, best father a girl could hope for. We've been two peas in a pod since day one, Always in my corner, my biggest (and loudest) cheerleader, can feed an army in minutes, and always the life of the party without a drop of alcohol!
Mother of the Bride
I'm blessed to have THE Momma Bear of all momma bears...My mother is my best friend and my confidant in every aspect of my life. We love to laugh, travel, chit chat for hours and enjoy doing just about anything together. I've quickly realized as I'm growing through my 20's how special this bond is and how alike we really are. Andre like's to point out daily all the the little things I do that are just like my Mom ;) Which is the greatest compliment!
