Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The event is semi-formal. Dress, suit and tie or nice dress shirt and pants. If you are just an attending guest, please wear all black. If you are apart of the Wedding Party: Women- Dresses in any shade of green. Men- Black with green. The green can be accessories.

What is the RSVP date?

Answer

If you are coming and even if you are not, please RSVP by April 15, 2026. There should be an option to say no or not coming. If not, you can text Shanell at 229-539-5715 and let me know you won’t be able to make it. If we hear nothing from you by the date, we will automatically assume that is no and not include you in the head count. Thank you.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Yes. My children will be in attendance so yes, children may attend. When you RSVP, please annotate how many will be coming. I will send this warning, “If you do not allow your children to hear cursing or see twerking…this may not be the event for them”.

Is it a dry event?

Answer

No. Drinks will be served at the bar. It is a cash bar. If you plan to engage in drinking, please bring money.

Is there a DJ?

Answer

Yes. A DJ will be there. The music will not be the clean versions. This will be a diverse selection of music to include rnb, rap, the oldies, funk, soul, house, dancehall, reggae and soca.

Will there be a bachelor and/or a bachelorette party?

Answer

Nothing is planned as for now since we’ve been married for some years. But I (Shanell) will most likely be “OUTSIDE” the night prior at Heroes Lounge in Dallas. It’s a reggae/dancehall/soca spot. If that’s your type of vibes…you are more than welcome to come. I will post more about it closer to the time.

Will there be transportation?

Answer

No. We will not be providing transportation to and from the venue. The hotels listed under accommodations are very close to the venue. If you plan on renting a vehicle or using uber/lyft…it won’t be too far of a travel nor expensive.

Is there hotel information?

Answer

Yes. The tab named accommodations has surrounding hotels listed. My home is not big enough to host so that will not be available. I’ve listed hotels in the city I live in as well as hotels near the venue and airport.
