What began as a childhood friendship became a union through the grace of God. Through every season, the Lord has remained faithful, bringing together two imperfect people as a reflection of His ability to make beauty from brokenness. Our journey has taught us the meaning of redemption, as God, in His perfect timing, restored what we could not sustain in our own strength. Individually, we learned the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and now together, by God’s grace, we strive to run this race faithfully while making Him known to others. We pray that our marriage glorifies God and reflects the Gospel — the good news that though we were once dead in our sins and without hope, God, in His love and mercy, sent His Son so that whoever repents and believes in Him may be made righteous and blameless in His sight. This is the love we pray to show one another and everyone we encounter throughout our journey together.
