Rossland is in the heart of the West Kootenay region of BC. If you have the option to travel by car, it is a beautiful drive and will provide you with the most flexibility once you arrive. Being a small town, Rossland has limited transportation options and very minimal taxi service.
There are two airports that service the area. The main airport is located in Castlegar (YCG), a 20 minute drive away. For those traveling within BC, the Trail Airport is exclusively serviced by Pacific Coastal Airlines and has limited service between select airports in BC.
If you choose to fly in to Castlegar or Trail, please book a rental car ahead of time. This is a small town and the supplies are limited.
