We’re getting married!

March 19th felt like any ordinary Wednesday. Jesse said we were heading to dinner with his sister, but first, a quick stop at their house. I didn’t suspect a thing. When we walked in, the lights were low, candles flickered, music was playing, and petals lined the floor. It took me a bit to comprehend what was happening. Right there, in the middle of a completely ordinary day, he asked me to marry him. I said yes and just like that, our forever began.

We met in 2021, Ana was finishing her bachelor’s degree and Jesse working two jobs. What started with simple conversations over a game night and cider quickly became something real. Together, we navigated career changes, took a leap moving to Spokane, and journeyed through grad school. It wasn’t always easy, but we grew stronger with every step. Eventually, we came back to the Tri-Cities back to where it began. Now, grounded by all we’ve been through, we’re ready to start the next chapter. Not just his. Not just hers. Ours.
