We are finally getting married

Andrea and Mike’s story began at the annual Fillmore Street block party in 1995, when Mike introduced himself with his unforgettable line: “Love! Mike, Love!” Andrea and Mallon couldn’t help but laugh—they weren’t quite as impressed as he had hoped. Not long after, Mike started spending more time around Frankford from Summerdale, and their paths began to cross more often. Their connection grew, leading to their first kiss on the beach in Wildwood during Mike’s senior week in 1997. In 1999, they began a serious relationship that lasted two and a half years. Though their timing wasn’t right back then, their story was far from over. Years later, fate brought them back together. During Game 3 of the Philadelphia 2008 World Series, at the Father Judge High School Taste of Northeast Philly, Mike proudly introduced Andrea as his girlfriend—making it official once again. That moment marked the beginning of an incredible 18-year journey together. Along the way, they built a life filled with love and laughter, and Mike embraced Andrea’s two amazing children, Andrew and AnnMarie, as part of his own family. In February 2025, while vacationing in Nashville, Tennessee, Mike asked Andrea to spend forever with him—and this time, Andrea said yes.
