Mt. Monadnock will be the beautiful backdrop to our ceremony and amongst the most hiked mountains in the world (second only to Mt. Fuji)! Known for being featured in the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, this is one of our first trips/hikes together. There are multiple trailheads and difficulty levels to choose from and gorgeous in the fall.
Have some time to kill before the wedding starts on September 26? From 10am - 4pm in Winchester NH (just a 20 minute drive from Keene) the annual Winchester Pickle Festival will be occurring. So, if you like pickles, you should probably go - just be sure to be back in time for the wedding!
