In June 2024, after not seeing each other for a couple years, we decided to catch up at a baseball game. We both told our friends that we were reconnecting as only friends, but they didn't believe us. About 15 minutes into the game while discussing the colors of the new couches we each bought, it became apparent that this would be a forever thing. They say when you know you know, and while we both knew for years, our lives finally aligned. That evening ended with "We shouldn't let so much time pass before we see each other again." Two days later we went to a movie together, four months later we blended our homes and little animals, eight months later we got a joint Costco membership, and one year later we got engaged.
