From Newport RI, an historic sailing city by the sea with so much to see and do, such as historic tours to sailboat rides to drives along the ocean to visiting fabulous mansions and eating at delicious restaurants - a perfect day trip - to rides to Cape Cod or Boston MA to a visit to Providence RI, home of Brown University to a day on the beach or hiking a woodsy trail, there’s a lot to do in this portion of New England!
For between the church and reception we recommend a drive through Colt State Park, a walk through downtown Bristol, or a visit to a local brewery or winery. An iced coffee or frozen Del’s Lemonade would be great if it’s a warm day. A nap at your place of lodging sounds good too!
