We will be hosting a welcome event on March 11, 2020 that will be taking place for most of the day. We recommend planning to arrive to Cartagena by March 10th if you would like to join us. We would love to see you there!
During the month of March, Cartagena is typically anywhere between 76 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Usually, March is a breezier month and humidity levels are not at their height in this coastal city. We recommend packing your bathing suit and getting ready for Caribbean fun!
The million dollar questions! Cartagena shut down all commercial business, tourism and non-essential businesses for about 8 months back in 2020. Since then, the city has diligently implemented safety measures including mask mandates and disinfecting stations readily available. Colombia as a whole has one of the highest vaccination rates in Latin America and tourism workers in Cartagena continue to adhere to mask wearing and frequent disinfecting of the general area. In terms of visiting Cartagena, visitors are able to choose whether to wear a mask or not while walking around Cartagena. When visiting restaurants, masks are required for entry and may be removed upon being seated at your table. Additionally, proof of vaccination is required for entry to some restaurants and establishments. We are happy to answer further questions you may have about this topic!
We have arranged for our venue to provide Covid testing to our guests the day before your scheduled return flight. Results are analyzed and verified by a certified medical lab and will be sent to you via email by the following morning. Testing cost is $75 USD. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns!
Formal or Black-Tie Optional!
