Ceremony (Sacred Spark & Heartfelt Handfasting) will take place on Saturday, October 17 at 3pm (Kartchner Caverns). Reception (Gathering of Kindred Spirits) will follow the Sacred Spark & Heartfelt Handfasting Ceremony at the same location.
The Bride and Groom will be in Tucson until Thursday, October 15. From Thursday, October 15 through Sunday, October 18 the couple will be in Benson, Arizona.
The entrance fee and parking are covered expenses for the day-of as long as you let them know you there for our wedding. While there are no associated fees for the wedding related to those costs, donations are appreciated to support the State Park system, if you would like to contribute to their cause.

We would love our dress code to complement your style and comfort. We kindly request for our guests to wear from cocktail to formal attire. For women it could be two dressy separates, dressy jumpsuit or dresses at all lengths. For men, dress pants and well fitted dress shirt with tie/bow (blazer optional). The Curry Pot- Sri Lankan Fusion Food Truck (@tucsoncurrypot) will be providing our food! Options include: 2 meat curry and 2 vegan curry options with rice. Vegan or Beef Samosa. Kids menu will offer cheese or curry quesadillas (for anyone under 10). Relajo’s Coffee Cart will be providing coffees!!!! There will be 3 milk options- cow milk, soy milk and oat milk options. Other drinks: Waters and Sodas. Dessert: French Macaroons and other small sweets.
No alcohol- simply because we will not have the permits, security required and there will be quite a lot of minors. It’s mostly a money and logistics thing not an alcohol thing so there will be other pre-events where alcohol is an option. Relajo’s Coffee Cart will be providing coffees!!!! There will be 3 different milk options- cow milk, soy milk and oat milk.
Yes! I encourage all the kiddos to come. I plan to have a kid’s area with entertainment and a rest area (after the sugar crash and playing with their new friends). It is unsupervised and not gated so please keep an eye on them. There will be adult tables close to make it easier.
I plan to have a basic pop-up tent for nursing needs with a trash can outside of it. It will include a basic chair for feedings and a basic changing pad. Please bring your own supplies and make sure to clean up after yourselves for others. There will be a few babies so depending on feedings schedules there could be a wait. There is no need to use the tent for breastfeeding and pumping, but I wanted to provide a sense of privacy outside of the public bathrooms for those that would like the option.
Please do not bring any animals to this wedding. We love our fur babies, but we'd like it to be pet free.
Tucson Airport to Kartchner's Cavern State Park is 50 miles (mostly highway). Sonita (where the couple will be staying) is 30 miles from Kartchner's Cavern State Park. Kartchner's Cavern State Park is about 34 miles from Sierra Vista.
