Home James Airport Shuttle

Home James will pick you up and take you to one of several locations in the Winter Park and Fraser area. Winter Park is just 10 miles from Wild Horse Inn. Once in the area you can contact Valley Taxi (970-726-4940) to take you to your lodging and around the Winter Park/Fraser area.

Amtrak

The California Zephyr (https://www.amtrak.com/ccurl/692/258/Amtrak-California-Zephyr-Train-Route-Guide-2014.pdf) travels from downtown Denver to Fraser, CO, but only has Morning routes at 8:05 am daily. To get to the Amtrak in downtown Denver, you can grab a ride share (i.e., Lyft or Uber) to Union Station or take the A-line. If you do not have a vehicle, Valley Taxi is available.

A shuttle will run to and from Devil's Thumb Ranch and the Holiday Inn Express in Fraser to Wild Horse Inn before and after welcome drinks and the wedding. We want everyone to have a fun time and travel safely. More details to come.

Information for Getting Around the Area

This is a helpful website for getting around the area and planning your trip. Please note that Lyft has recently expanded service to the Winter Park area. We are not sure of the extent of that service. Cell phone service is also spotty in the mountains.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fraser - Winter Park Area

The Holiday Inn is about 10 minutes (5 miles) away from Wild Horse Inn. We set up a block of rooms. The group code that you'll need to mention is BGW. The rate is $165 for Saturday and $110 for Sunday for a 2 queen or 1 king room. You can make reservations through the website or by calling 800-439-4745. You need to book by 4/13/18 to receive the discount rate. We will provide transportation to and from the wedding on Sunday. Price: $$

Devil's Thumb Ranch (DTR) is a couple of miles down the road from Wild Horse Inn. Here you'll have access to a heated pool, several dining experiences, a spa, and outdoor activities, such as horseback riding or mountain biking. DTR is a popular destination for weddings, so room availability might dwindle quickly. Price: $$$
