It all started many years ago, back when Nick was a rough-and-tumble teenage rebel living way up in his mountain and Andrea was a free spirit, traveling across different states with no real sense of home. In 2010, both found themselves at a crossroads. Andrea returned to the fold by moving to Yakima, Washington, where she spent months in absolute happiness taking care of her Grandpa Joe and finding her sense of self within his hard earned wisdom and life stories. However, as life happens, her time there came to an end when other family members came to call. This time, she was purposeful in her next journey and decided to learn a trade. Four hundred and twenty miles south in Grants Pass, Oregon, Nick was busy working concrete jobs, stacking wood, tag-teaming a rotten bully with his twin, and evading death one mountain ride at a time. A twist of fate brought his antics to a local Job Corps office; he says he can pinpoint the moment to a single cigarette and the perfect timing of a teacher walking by. Faced with two options—Wolf Creek, Oregon, or Curlew, Washington—both Andrea and Nick chose Curlew without missing a beat. That was the start of their story, but not the end. They met and worked alongside each other, developing a deep respect for one another's work ethic, drive and for the first time discovering that unique magnetic pull toward each other. However, fate only intended for them to meet briefly for now; they still had much to do. They eventually went their separate ways and, as written, each had beautiful children of their own. After ten years of life lessons and real struggle, those lessons were finally complete. Now, Nicholas and Andrea are back together ten years later, ready to begin the story that has always been and will always be written in the heavens.
