Hmmm… that looks familiar! The Timberline Lodge is actually the facade of the Shining’s Overlook Hotel. It’s not as scary as it sounds. :) it has a lovely backdrop of snow and a warm fireplace if you have time to trek up the mountain and see Mt. Hood!

Did you ever want to see where the Goonies was filmed? Haystack Rock is the backdrop of the final scenes of the movie. It’s a lovely town to walk through or just look at tide pools on the beach.

The Flavel House is the setting for the Goonies! It’s the museum that Mikey’s dad worked at and is a gorgeous piece of Oregon history. You can see the getaway Jeep the jail and so much more from movies other than the Goonies! Remember Stand By Me? It was filmed here too!
