Miranda, my sister was our matchmaker. She and Michael worked together at an accounting firm, and she knew Michael was the perfect match for me. After some convincing, Michael agreed to meet me. He was planning to move to Colorado and did not want to start something he could not finish. Our first date was a hike and sushi; the conversation would not stop flowing and we loved each other's company. Knowing he was leaving we both were weary to fall in love. So once he moved away we kept in contact by playing video games and calling one another. We built a digital farm online and our characters got married in the game, it was adorable! He came to visit me the week of the New Year, this was when we admitted that we loved each other. I also had him meet my parents. My mother told me he was the perfect man for me and I needed to chase him, even if it meant moving out west. I planned a surprise trip to see him on Valentine's Day weekend in Colorado. Michael and I went hiking to the top of a beautiful mountain where he asked me to be his girlfriend. We continued our long-distance relationship for 4 months when he finally decided to move back to Erie, to me. The rest is history!
