We met at church in Phoenix, AZ, and didn't think much of it, (well at least Andrea didn't). After church, a few words were exchanged but nothing major. Later Mercedes expressed her interest in Andrea to her best friend- who would have known that a 2-minute conversation between Mercedes and Andrea would have brought them here?

On Andrea's birthday, Mercedes planned a surprise birthday party where Andrea was surrounded by friends and family. As Andrea opened her gifts, she was caught off guard when she found a small box with a ring inside. With music playing in the background, cameras out and tears flowing, Mercedes popped the question and Andrea said, "Yes" and now we are preparing for our wedding.
