Greetings! Thank you for coming to celebrate Baby Kate! The shower is in Genesee, CO, which is 15 minutes from downtown Golden, CO and about 30 minutes west of Denver proper. Both Denver and Golden are safe, picturesque, walkable areas with lots of fun things to see and do. A few suggested hotels are posted here. There is a train from Denver International Airport to downtown Denver Union Station, which is walkable from most downtown Denver hotels. Once I know where people are staying, I will help coordinate some transportation from the hotel(s) to the shower and the dinner for out of town guests that evening.
