One of the best golf courses on the Costa Brava. This is an 18-hole, Par 71 course, located just behind Hotel Peralada.
The Wine Spa (despite the name, it's not wine-related) is complimentary for hotel guests. For non-guests, a visit costs €105 and includes lunch at the excellent L'Olivera restaurant, 60 minutes of access to the spa’s pools and saunas, and a 25-minute massage.
Casino housed in a 14th century castle in downtown Peralada, right next to where the wedding ceremony will take place. Guests 18 and up permitted. Bring your passport as your form of ID (the Casino does not recognize driver's licenses).
Peralada’s winery offers a range of incredible experiences, and some of the most convenient options for a wedding weekend include the Winery Visit (1.5 hours), Winery and Castle Tour (3 hours), Private Tasting (1 hour), and Flash Tasting (1 hour). All include wine tastings and are located in the town center, just a short walk from the venue and hotel. If you have extra time, we highly recommend the private Garbet Experience - a 4-hour scenic tour of the vineyard and winery that’s truly special.
Museum Peralada showcases the castle’s private collections, including a stunning library, a ceramics collection, and a renowned glass collection - considered the most important in Spain and one of the largest privately owned in the world. The museum also features a historic cloister, a Gothic church with a 14th century coffered ceiling (where our religious ceremony will take place), and a wine museum housed in one of the former cellars of the Carmelite friars. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Museum's ticket office. A tour is included with ticket purchase.
If you have a car or don't mind taking a 25-minute taxi, the fishing village Roses offers beautiful beaches, incredible seafood restaurants and streets lined with little shops. Rafa's is one of our favorite lunch spots.
Just 15 minutes from Peralada is Figueres, where many of our guests will be staying and arriving by train from Barcelona. As the birthplace of Salvador Dalí, the city is known for its art and culture. We highly recommend a quick visit to the Salvador Dalí Museum.
