Question
Is the ceremony/reception outside?
Answer
The ceremony will take place outdoors (on a grass lawn) provided the weather cooperates. Should the weather be uncooperative, the ceremony will be moved inside to the reception area. The reception that follows will be inside but there is some outdoor seating available if desired.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you arrive at least 20 to 30 minutes before the ceremony starts at 6pm.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Semi-Formal/Dressy Casual- For women, this might be flowy midi dresses, wrap dresses, chic jumpsuits, or dressy skirts with a nice blouse. Due to the gravel parking lot, grass lawn and uneven barn floor, opt for comfortable heels, wedges, or dressy flats. For men, this might be a collared dress shirt with chinos, slacks or nice jeans. A blazer is recommended for the family pictures but not a necessity.

Are kids welcome? Is the Venue kid friendly?
Answer
Kids are very welcome! The venue does has 2 ponds on the property that are not fenced and near the ceremony site. There is also a flock of various birds (chickens, ducks, peacocks, etc) on the property that may be roaming throughout the ceremony & reception.

Will there be alcoholic beverages?
Answer
There will not be alcoholic beverages during ceremony or reception. We will have a variety of other drinks available such as water, tea, various sodas and sparkling cider/juices.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Food will be served in a buffet style and we will do our best to accommodate a food allergy but no guarantees can be made at this time.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have added two hotels to the website that are very close to the venue if an overnight stay is needed. We do not have a room block available as the majority of our guests live in the area.

Are you registered? Where?
Answer
Yes, we have a registry through Zola. Though we absolutely need nothing other than your presence at our celebration, there are some items that would be very appreciated as we combine our lives. Some items can be purchased directly through Zola or is linked to the product site and should be purchased directly from the company. If you choose to purchase a product directly from the company, we ask that you come back to the registry and mark it as being purchased to avoid duplicates. For those generously gifting via check, we kindly ask that checks be made payable to either Andrea Hayes or Luke Keester individually, as we are still working on combining our finances.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is a gravel parking lot and there will be parking attendants to direct you at the venue.
