They met at Coral Gables Senior High (2000) in Spanish class. Andrea never knew Leonardo had a crush on her but she genuinely found him to be a cool guy. He wasn’t ready for her at that time because he felt she would never date him. So friends they stayed. She graduated one year (2002) before him and later went to the United States Navy. Leonardo graduated the following year (2003) but they both didn’t speak or see one another until 2011 (thanks to Facebook). Andrea and Leonardo reconnected and it was like they didn’t miss a beat. At the time Andrea resided in NYC but had plans to move back to Miami in 2012. Leonardo felt it was the perfect time to ask Andrea on their first date and she obliged. That date was the start of their beautiful relationship that has seen many ups and downs. Even a moment of separation in 2019, where they took time to self reflect, travel, meet others and focus on what they wanted out of life. Never straying away to far as they were always friends first, they later reconnected in 2021. On April 12, 2024 Leonardo took Andrea to Tampa, Fl for a nice weekend getaway where he proposed and vowed his love to her. Andrea said “YES” and was so happy to be marrying her best friend. Through it all they stayed committed to one another which made their relationship even stronger. They have had 12 years of learning one another, understanding each other, and growing to love one another through and through. Always putting God first and knowing with faith all things are possible. For those that don’t believe in TRUE LOVE let their story be a testimony. They can’t wait to celebrate with family and friends near and far. As they begin this new chapter of their love story: happily married. Love is patient, love is kind…. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
