Andrea and I met through a leadership program during our time at Texas Tech. For the first years in college, we didn't know each other much beyond our occasional conversation in the halls, but one afternoon during our sophomore year, everything changed. We started flirting with each other at one of our leadership program events, and once she started batting her beautiful eyes at me I was crazy about her. Desperate to spend more time with her, I asked for her help in my accounting class. Andrea eagerly jumped in to tutor me - turns out she wasn't just looks! I kept it a secret that I was actually pretty good at accounting. This led to later hanging out at a Josh Abbott Band concert and me finally asking her out on our first date to Aspen Creek. In August 2016 I asked Andrea to be my girlfriend. From there on we grew to being inseparable as we bonded over our faith, shared family values, Texas Tech pride, and our favorite, Chimy's. We both graduated in May 2018 and moved to Dallas for work. Three and a half years later on February 15, 2020 I asked her to be my wife. That was the best day of our lives and we can't wait for our story to continue!
