Andrea and Josue's story starts in middle school. They both grew up in the same hometown, attended the same church, went to the same middle school, and their families knew each other but, the two never spoke and did not have the same friend group. Andrea was Josue's middle school crush but he jokes that she was way out of his league and too nervous to say hello. However, Andrea didn’t share the same feelings. To her, Josue was simply a sweet boy she knew from home. The two went on to attend the same high school but still did not cross paths. Life continued and the two grew on their own as they went off to college and started their careers. In 2021, while Andrea was working on her master's degree in San Diego, Josue reached out to her over social media. From there, they exchanged numbers and began to talk almost every day. The rest was history! They connected on common interests, their love for God, family and people, and instantly hit it off. The two dated long-distance for a year and grew their connection while apart. With Andrea’s graduation complete, a new opportunity opened up for them to live and work closer to one another, allowing their relationship to continue growing. And 3 years later, in November of 2024, they got engaged in beautiful San Diego close to where they grew up. Now, they both live and work in Northern California where they continue to grow in their relationship as fiancés and soon to be husband and wife. They cannot wait to celebrate how God brought them together with their favorite people all in one place—exactly the way it was meant to be, in His perfect timing!
