South Congress is a collection of eclectic local businesses. This walkable stretch of downtown Austin is a great way to spend a day strolling in and out of shops, grabbing lunch, (we recommend Hopdoddy for amazing burgers and fries!) and maybe even catching some live music.
The Domain is an outdoor shopping center located in north Austin. It has quite a few restaurants and bars as well as tons of retail options. It's a fun way to spend the day perusing store shelves, grabbing lunch, and relaxing at one of the hotels (we recommend Lone Star!). This is also where the shuttle will meet for pick up and drop off before and after the wedding!
The Pennybacker, or 360 bridge is an Austin icon. If you're heading south on Capital of Texas highway, you'll likely see some cars parked off to the side, right before you reach the bridge. Thats the best place to park, and find the fun little hike up a cliff, that ends in a great view of the Pennybacker, and lake Austin!
Fredericksburg is a very cute town just under 2 hours away from Austin. It's known for its wineries in the surrounding area, and boutique shopping, found on main street. This is a great little day trip if you'll be in the Austin area for an extended amount of time.
