We both grew up in the southwest suburbs of Illinois and quite possibly crossed paths at Mojo's in Joliet, but we aren't exactly sure. Fortunately, we both found ourselves in Springfield attending the same university-- Andi for undergrad, Jon for post-graduate studies. We officially started dating after a few months of knowing each other, numerous nights out on the town, a couple of banana margaritas, and some PBR. Our relationship started with Jon working on a campaign, Andi preparing for law school, and big plans to build something great. Fast forward a few years and today Andi works as a Worker's Compensation lawyer in downtown Rockford and Jon works in lobbying and government communications for a company in Schaumburg. This past year we adopted a troublemaker named Max, another troublemaker named Izzy, and we purchased our first home together. Our story might only be a few years long, but we are excited to make our union official and plan to write many more happy chapters together.
