Andrea and Jetse met during her first weekend in San Francisco—thanks to a chance encounter in a bathroom line at Shabbat. What started as an instant connection (and friendship) quickly grew into something more, even as graduation and distance briefly kept them apart. After months of long-distance calls, they finally took the leap in 2019—just in time for COVID to change their plans. Andrea moved to Texas, where they built a life together over four wonderful years. Now back in San Diego, their story came full circle when Jetse proposed on August 15, 2025—proving that what started as a chance meeting was always meant to be forever.
