Andrea was in Hawaii and Jarrah was cat-sitting Loki. Out of nowhere, he wraps up a conversation with "I love you". She said bye, panicked, hung up, and threw the phone back on her chair.
COVID ChristmasCOVID Christmas
COVID positive on the day before she was supposed to fly home, Andrea cancelled Christmas travel. When he tested positive too, he suggested quarantining together at her place. With groceries delivered, it was a cozy and delicious Christmas.
First International TripFirst International Trip
After a conference in Milan we travelled to Cinque Terre for several days exploring the Italian Mediterranean, hiking between towns, and enjoying fresh seafood.

Visiting Ohio for her cousin's wedding, Andrea brought Jarrah for the prep. At ease in a kitchen, he earned major brownie points helping prep for cocktail hour snacks.
