FAQs

We ask that if you have any questions or concerns regarding anything please feel free to reach out to the bride and groom for clarification. Thank you so much for attendance.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Sunday formal as our wedding will be held in a Catholic Church. Guests are invited to dress in elegant and respectful formal attire appropriate for a church wedding. Floor length, midi, or cocktail dresses are welcome for ladies. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear suits or dress shirts with ties. Kindly avoid wearing white or ivory so the bride may reserve those colors.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 7pm sharp, and we kindly ask that you arrive by 6:45pm to be seated comfortably. If you arrive after 7pm, please wait for the religious procession to conclude before taking a seat in the back pews, as this helps us maintain the reverence of the Mass.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at the church in two convenient locations: in the back near the school entrance or in the large open lot to the right of the church.

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. We have provided some recommendations in the travel section of the wedding website

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We've hired professional photographers to capture every special moment, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy the day together. Additionally, we'd like to maintain the sacred nature of this religious ceremony.

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly. We're committed to ensuring you have a delicious meal option that works for you, so you can fully enjoy the celebration alongside us.

Question

What is a Catholic Nuptial Mass?

Answer

A Catholic Nuptial Mass is a wedding ceremony celebrated as part of the full Mass, featuring sacred prayers, scripture readings, the exchange of vows, and Holy Communion. You can expect the ceremony to last approximately one hour.

Question

Do I need to be Catholic to attend?

Answer

Absolutely not! We're thrilled to celebrate with family and friends of all faiths and backgrounds. Wedding programs will be provided to guide you through the ceremony, prayers, and traditions.

Question

What should I do during Communion if I am not Catholic?

Answer

According to Catholic teaching, Holy Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics who are in a state of grace. We're grateful to have you celebrate with us and join in prayer. If you're not receiving Communion, you're welcome to remain in your seat or, if you'd like, come forward with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing from the priest.

Question

Are kids welcome?
