We were actually set up on a blind date by some friends. Special shout out to Brandon and Sarah! We dated not once but twice. It's good thing we both believe in second chances right? We met outside for a hike for our first date and we hiked to Lake Mary.. Afterward, we got tacos and chatted. We've spent lots of time traveling to places where we can enjoy nature and adventure together so getting married outdoors just felt right. We got engaged in the Redwood Forest so we both have rings with redwood in them.
This is a pretty casual wedding! We are outdoor enthusiasts and want you to be comfortable. So…No you don’t need to dress up. You can, but please know that this wedding will be outside and the high will likely be in the low 60’s and cool off in the evening. We will have some blankets for you to use.
We just wanted things to be simple and easy. Something about this just felt right for us. And while we would have loved all of our friends and families to be present we realized we didn't want the stress of planning a bigger wedding. We will love you if you come and we will love you if you don't. Either way we are getting married. Yay us!
We will have Black Sliders food truck and some sweet treats and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
Yes. It will be smallish. We will have a food truck out front of our home to feed our family and friends from 6-8pm. It’s really more like hanging out, not a stuffy reception.
You can park on our street (Juniper Bend Circle) or on the street just south of ours (Juniper Crest) and walk down through the gates.
