FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be held at The Kelley Farm in Bonney Lake, Washington. The closest airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), about 45 minutes away. There is free on-site parking for all guests. Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are available but can be limited late at night, so please plan ahead or arrange a ride in advance.

Question

Is it an indoor or outdoor wedding?

Answer

If weather permits, our ceremony will be held outdoors on the lawn. October weather in Washington can be unpredictable. If needed, the ceremony location may be moved indoors at the last minute. The reception will be held inside the barn regardless of weather. We recommend dressing warmly

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal Attire. For men: Collared button-up shirt required. No jeans. No tennis shoes. Slacks, dress shoes, suits, or sport coats encouraged For women: Heels are welcome-- Block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are great options. Please avoid wearing white, ivory, cream, beige, or anything close to white. October evenings in Bonney Lake get cold after sunset — bring a coat or wrap

Question

Is this an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We are having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that all phones, cameras, and devices are put away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. We promise to share professional photos and videos afterward.

Question

What time should I arrive?

What is the venue's alcohol and smoking policy?

Answer

We will be providing drinks, including beer, wine, and signature cocktails for you to enjoy. The Kelley Farm has a strict no outside alcohol policy and a no-shots policy. Outside alcohol is not allowed anywhere on the property. Guests found bringing in outside liquor or attempting to take shots may be fined by the venue and asked to leave. If you need to vape or smoke a cigarette, there is a designated smoking area at the venue. Smoking or vaping is only permitted in this area. Thank you for helping us respect the venue’s rules so we can all have a smooth and fun celebration!

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Having you celebrate our wedding day with us truly means the world, and your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. In place of a traditional registry, we will have a honeymoon fund available under the Registry tab for anyone who has asked how they can contribute as we begin this new chapter together. We will also be sharing a money dance during the reception — a joyful cultural tradition where guests can share a brief dance with the bride or groom while offering a small cash gift in celebration of the newlyweds. We are so grateful for your love, support, and for simply being part of this special day with us.
