Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favourite places with you.

BackLane craft bar - Craft cocktails and beer

31 Kroz Burak, Hvar, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21450, Croatia

Best cocktails on the island. You will likely see us here every evening. No bookings allowed, cash only. Pro tip: Andrea's favourite cocktails are G&G, Bananaman and Snow White.

Falko Beach Bar & Food

Vlade Avelinija, Hvar, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21450, Croatia

Nice place for a cocktail at sunset.

Macondo

7 Marije Maričić, Hvar, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21450, Croatia

Our favourite seafood restaurant. Cash only. Can only book for the first slot (6.30/7pm) but no need to book more than a day in advance. Cash only. Pro tip: seafood pasta / risotto with Kozlovic Malvasia is to die for

Konoba Stori Komin

Malo Grablje, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21450, Croatia

Small family restaurant in an abandon village. Their speciality is octopus or lamb peka - need to call at least a day ahead to pre-order. Pro-tip: arrive 10min early to explore the abandon village.

Best beaches

- Depending on where you are staying, your city options are either Bonj beach or Pokonji dol. - Dubovica is a fan favourite, you will need to either drive or get a boat there (note, a bit of a hike to get to the beach from the road). There is only one restaurant that does great scampi. - Pakleni islands: a collection of small islands opposite Hvar. Boats go from the harbour every 20min starting at 10. Palmizana is the only sandy beach and has good restaurants and beach bars. Mlini is more low key and in our opinion, the prettiest. - Good for kids: Kamp Vira.

Španjola Fortress, Hvar

80 Ulica Biskupa Jurja Dubokovica, Hvar, Splitsko-dalmatinska županija 21450, Croatia

Great evening stroll for the best view of Hvar.
