My relationship with Carl started in the 2000s. We begun a separate relationship outside of the relationship he was building with my sister. We discussed fresh outfits either of us were wearing, debated about Kobe and thought about business ideas that we could implement. As the years went on, our conversations and fellowship grew deeper. We challenged each other to be better men through actions and words. I am grateful of our relationship and honored to stand by his side during his wedding day. Ultimately, LAW makes us related but RESPECT and LOVE makes us family. I wish my Brother-In-Law a blessed and fruitful marriage and pray that God will lead him and his household now and for all the years to come. P.S. — You know what they say. I met Andrea during our freshman year at TTU as this girl w/ Alicia Keys braids and a white Sidekick she would not stop sliding up and down to text with. I remember us sharing a couple of laughs at the table & planning to go out later that evening. I had no clue that from that moment on I would be sharing many more laughs, tears & milestones w/ this Sidekick girl. I had no way of knowing I would be by her side the day Carl's double take on our spring break trip to ATX would be the start of a forever love. These two are more than friends to me, they are family. Over the years, I have literally watched their relationship manifest into something I know only God could design. We were both from Dallas & would ride back & forth down i45 In his classic Infiniti! We would hang out, study OChem, play video games & talk life. Becoming roommates made our bond grow stronger. He has become a true brother & friend. He keeps it real & is true to himself. He was sure to give me wardrobe tips & taught me the art of the Chelsea boot.
