In 2022, just one month after Andrea moved to Grand Rapids, her world was brand new - a new city, a new chapter, and just her and her dog, Dewey, figuring it out together. When her college best friend Maggie came to visit one weekend, they decided to hit the town and see where the night would take them. Naturally, it led them to the dance floor of a little downtown bar called Social House. That's where fate stepped in - quite literally. Andrea bumped into Brenden, who happened to be there with his best friend Austin. Noticing his Masters sweatshirt, Andrea struck up a conversation, and before they knew it, the two were comparing golf swings right in the middle of the dance floor! Brenden asked for her number, planned a first date shortly after, and from that night on, they have been inseparable. Since then, life together has been anything but boring. Their days have been filled with lake trips on the boat (always with Dewey along for the ride), countless rounds of golf, and annual escapes to Anna Maria Island with the Micho family. Along the way, they have traveled far and wide, moved into a home together, and added a second puppy (Duffy) to the mix. And while they're excited to get married and begin their favorite chapter yet, settling down certainly does not mean slowing down to them. Their favorite thing to do is explore - whether it's a spontaneous weekend getaway in Michigan, hopping on a plane to somewhere unfamiliar, quiet mornings on the boat with Brenden fishing and Andrea lost in a book, or discovering the newest local restaurant as self-proclaimed foodies. Wherever they go, they go together. They complement each other effortlessly. Brenden's calm steadiness balances Andrea's fiery spirit - the golden retriever to her black cat. However, at their core they share the same values, prioritizing God first always, family and loved ones second, and everything else after that. Their time together is filled with laughter, playfulness, and a shared sense of joy and understanding that makes even ordinary moments feel special. They feel endlessly grateful to have found one another. They are true best friends, perfect complements, and partners in every sense.
