Our Story
We matched on a dating app called Hinge! We first bonded over our love for The Office but the conversation quickly turned into a deeper connection around a shared faith. We exchanged messages for a week before we met up for a first date at the Corridor over old fashions. After the date, Benji will tell you "there was something special about this girl" and I felt extremely hopeful for what God had in store. After about a month of getting to know each other, we became official in a Jewel-Osco grocery store parking lot (very romantic).
Over the next year and a half, we made lots of memories together and met lots of friends and family near and far. On a very special day in February, Benji arranged a "double-date" with Andrea's roommate Molly and her boyfriend Chris at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Although I was a little suspicious, I was thrilled when Benji popped the question! I said Yes, of course and we cannot wait to celebrate with you all in September. God is so good!
