Where do I go when I first arrive at Camp?

Answer

You will drive on to the Island and park in front of the Weesner Welcome Center. There will be a camp staff member there to greet you and get you checked in/give you info about our special day! The camp does want every guest in attendance to sign a waiver form, this is YMCA policy. We are so excited for you to experience Camp Icaghowan!!!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 2:30pm! Please come early and have fun with all the camp activities we have planned for our guests to enjoy, while we are getting ready. 8am-10am Continental Breakfast, 9am-1pm are camp activities, and 11am-1pm Lunch.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

For attending our wedding - September 1st, 2026 If you are staying at the Forrest Inn it needs to be reserved by Sept 9th. If you want the wedding block discount price.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi Formal Casual. Our wedding is at Camp! We will be outside periodically throughout the day and evening, bring a layer to stay warm! The camp has mainly dirt paths throughout the Island.

What kind of sleeping items do I need for sleeping at camp in a Cabin?

Answer

Pillow, Sleeping bag or Sheets & blankets.

What is the bathroom situation at Camp?

Answer

If you stay at camp with us the cabins have a bathroom/shower building close to your cabin. (within 50ft) Yes, it has Hot running water!

How are the paths and buildings?

Answer

The camp is ADA compliant. There are ramps into buildings and the main pathways are pea gravel paths.
