Question

Are my kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

As we would love to accommodate everyone for this event, we are limiting this celebration to only include a few select minors who are apart of the wedding party. All other minors of guests will not be invited to allow everyone to enjoy a night out at this event.

I received my invitation, who can I bring as a plus one?

Answer

All invitations will indicate a plus one, this event is focused on including those who we are close with, such as our family and friends. We ask that you only bring those who are designated on the invitation only to this event. We understand some individuals may need to seek out child care, we ask that you make this a priority as we will only be able to accommodate those on the invitations.

Updated 2/18/26: Will the reception have an open bar or cash bar?

Answer

We will provide at the reception two 1/2 barrels of beer one being Busch Light the other PBR, we will also be providing a limited open bar for the event that will have two bartenders inside at the River Deck. Please only use the bar inside this event to obtain your drinks, other bar areas on the premises will be open for the general public and will not be able to accommodate those from the wedding party. The limited open bar along with the beer is available until it is gone and after that it is a cash bar for guests, we ask guests to bring cash and plan accordingly. But know we have enough beer, sodas, and mixed beverages to accommodate our guests for most of the night.

Is there a hotel near by to book a room for this event?

Answer

Yes, the Cobblestone is down the street from the River Deck. This is the closest hotel near the event and this would make it easier for those driving long distance to book close enough to the event. If you wish to book with the Cobblestone there is a code that can be found in the travel section of the wedding website.

Is the Ceremony and Reception in the same location?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be located in Waupaca at Trinity Lutheran Church and the reception will be located in Fremont at the River Deck.

Where can i park for the reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot across from the Bridge Bar that is large enough to accommodate parking needs or there is another parking lot down the street by Gertrude's Ice Cream Shop and there is also street parking along the bars and shops.

How should I dress for this event?

Answer

We ask our guests to dress semi formal for this event, no shorts, jeans, or t-shirts for this event.

Can I carry in any food or beverages to this event?

Answer

No, we ask all guests to not bring in any outside food or beverages to the church or reception as it is not permitted. We will have a caterer and bartenders for this event, if any beverages and or food is brought in to this event we will ask those individuals to remove it from the premises.

Is this a Religious Ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we ask all individuals to respect that we would like this to be a religious ceremony. We understand everyone has different views, however we would ask that for this event we would like all our guests to participate in our event, helping us build our connection further with Christ.

Are we allowed to bring in our cellphones into the ceremony?

Answer

No, we ask all our guests to respect the rules of the church and not bring in any outside devices into the ceremony. We will have a photographer for this event, we would love for all our guests to enjoy the moment and not be distracted by their mobile devices.

Will the reception have any meal accommodations?

Answer

For our meal we will be having a Taco Buffet, along with a few appetizers before the meal. We will have a chicken and beef option for the proteins for the meal, we will not be able to accommodate for any vegetarian or vegan meal options.

Will you have a wedding registry for your event?

Answer

Yes, we will have a few items on our registry, but our main focus for our registry will be a honeymoon fund. There is no obligation to provide cash, but any gift of funds will be used for us to take a more extensive honeymoon together in 2027.
