Our love for pizza gave us a “connection” that has led to two years of perfection. Andy became all too familiar with the stretch of the 405 from Long Beach to Santa Monica. Together we have traveled near and far to create unforgettable memories, and our love flourished. We were excited to ring in our first whirlwind year together on his turf in the Windy City. Our love, fun, and travels continued as we embarked on 2019, but in May we promised each other love and commitment forever. Our love for each other has only grown deeper, and we can't wait for a lifetime of happiness. The Proposal: May 24, 2019 we headed to our special place, The Culver Hotel, for a romantic nightcap cocktail. At the hotel, we sipped our drinks by the fire as we enjoyed the old black and white projection of the Wizard of Oz. With a ring in his jacket pocket, Andy was about to change our lives forever. A spot filled with memories of dates together now holds a new meaning and place in our hearts. We were standing out front waiting for an Uber, I was shivering on a 'cold' California night and it was unusual that Andy would not wrap his arms around me. #inhislovinGARMS He had other plans. Andy found our moment, not a single person on an otherwise busy street, he got down on one knee and neither of us remembers what happened next. We know loving words were exchanged and I had to be asked again, but my only thought was I would be starting the rest of my life with the most perfectly imperfect man, made just for me.

We are still planning on moving forward with our celebration with as many friends and family who feel comfortable. The church is currently open to 100 guests, at this time we do not anticipate our guest list to exceed this amount. While we understand there are mixed feelings around this virus, we feel strongly about keeping our original date. We do ask if you or any of the people in your household are in vulnerable groups to please take care of yourselves and stay home. We will miss you! We also realize this may have effected your childcare plans, unfortunately children are still not invited.
