Forever and always

Like all modern day love stories, we met on a dating app. While neither of us anticipated what was to come, we could not deny the connection we had on that first date. With Drew living in Florida and Dre in New York, our relationship had it's share of challenges. Consistent facetimes and monthly adventures to either city or somewhere else around the globe, the relationship grew into a deep bond and strong love. One year of long-distance later, the three of us (Cozmo included) moved in together in New Jersey and the rest is history.

The holiday season has always been a special time for us. We met on 12/22, our second date was Christmas eve, and we moved in together 12/31. When it came time for Drew to propose, he knew that it had to be this special time of year for us and it also needed to be intimate. In Drew fashion, he kept his cool right up until seconds before. As he reached deep into the branches of our Christmas tree and pulled out a little ring box, tears rolled down my face. He forgot his whole speech and I completely blacked out anyway. The one thing we both remember was him asking "Will You Marry Me?"
