Andrea's favorite place in Boston, this unique art museum was the personal collection of a fascinating woman. A lovely café makes it a great place to spend the day!
The gorgeous building just across the street from Trinity Church is the main Boston Public Library branch. The art and architecture are historic, there are tours, concerts in the courtyard, and a café with a high tea (book as soon as you can -- reservations are open on a 30 day rolling basis). Oh and also just a lot of books!
Somewhat cheesy, it's more interactive historical experience than museum, but it's super fun especially for kids. A great café overlooking the Fort Point Channel makes a great ending to the experience. It's near the Boston Children's Museum as well!
Another slightly cheesy but totally worth it tourist classic in Boston, the Duck Boat Tours launch directly across the street from the reception hotel. Andrea’s first ever time in Boston at age 4 included a Duck Boat Tour and she still has her duck call, her Make Way For Ducklings statuette, and a photo with the driver. A great way to see the whole city - from land and sea!
A super cute bookstore and café on the picturesque Newbury Street!
The JP stands for Jamaica Plain, the neighborhood we live in. This ice cream is to die for! Check out the location on picturesque Newbury Street.
Our most recommended restaurant (you can order all your sandwiches on scallion pancakes instead of bread!!), this Asian fusion restaurant embraces the philosophy "more is more."
