Due to many obstacles COVID presented us & other life-changing events, we've decided to have a small, intimate wedding at my dad's on 2/14/2021.

Marty and I met through Chemistry.com. On May 17, 2014, as I was searching through my matches, I came upon Marty's profile. I was immediately attracted to his picture and liked his story. I accidently clicked on the "wave or hi" button when I went to advance to the next person (as I didn't think he'd be interested in me). Much to my surprise, he responded! We chatted for a week and had our first date at Michael's Harborside on May 25, 2014. I was so nervous that once we met he would no longer be interested. We had a nice date. He was very outgoing and I was a little cautious, as I thought, "this guy is full of himself." And I thought his stories were embellished. But, he asked me for a second date and I thought I needed to get to know him more so why not? On our 3rd date, I knew he was "the one." A feeling I've never felt for another and to this day can't explain. It was just a "knowing." As I spent more time with him at concerts, I knew his initial stories that I was skeptical of were true. No embellishment to pump himself up. Our first "song" - Dance with Me. Our first of many dances. I loved it when Marty started our tradition of ensuring we have at least one dance together whenever we were together. Our love for each other continues to grow stronger every day and the love, support, caring, friendship, and laughter he brings to me every day, is more than I could ask for. I never thought this day would come for me and we are both very excited (and nervous) to get married and spend the rest of our lives together.
