In 2016, two people happened to be in proximity of one another. A proximity close enough where a dating app would match the two of them. It all started with a swipe right, a slip in a blizzard, a stolen kiss in Zara, and the rest was... REALLY complicated. Though those short months together in 2017 came to a close, the connection they had planted a seed—one that quietly waited for the right season to bloom. Life had other plans for both of them, with lessons to be learned and paths to walk separately. It wasn’t until 2023, after years of growth, moments of heartbreak, and more therapy sessions than either would care to count, that their paths crossed yet again. This time, everything felt different. The pieces finally fit, and the timing was finally right. What started as a swipe in 2016 had grown into a love built on honesty, patience, and a deep understanding of one another. Now, here they are, ready to celebrate the journey that brought them here—every twist, turn, and detour included.
