What should I wear?

Answer

We want people to be comfortable in the outdoor setting, so we're suggesting comfortable shoes and "garden party attire.”

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

We are providing a shuttle service from Berry Hill, however, if you want to drive, there will be plenty of parking space at the house. If you plan on drinking, we suggest that you take the shuttle. Please be sure to RSVP for the shuttle if you plan on taking it, so that we can ensure that we have enough seats for everyone who would like to use the provided transportation.

Parking and Shuttle Bus Questions

Answer

There is street parking at the house, but please don't park in the cul-de-sac at the end of the street, since the buses will need that space to turn around. If you're riding the bus, please make your way to the circle in front of the mansion at Berry Hill around 4 pm, for a departure at 4:20. There will be three return bus times at 9 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. We understand that it may be difficult to find a babysitter in Halifax, so we are putting together a list of babysitters in the Halifax area which we can provide closer to the date of the wedding.

What if I have mobility issues?

Answer

The entire wedding will be taking place outside, and the reception is in a slightly sloped backyard. If you have mobility issues, please talk to us about your specific issue so we can make sure it will be a safe environment for you.
