Bridesmaid
Over a decade of sharing life together. We have lived together, traveled together, shared ups and downs. A dear friendship full of deep vulnerable conversations, encouraging each other in hard times, and celebrating each other in exciting times. I am an auntie to her puppy Ollie and her sweet children Lucas and Alana. She taught me the southern level of hospitality, generosity, and a level of house cleaning I didn't know existed. As roommates, we had so many nights of nime chow, skinny girl margaritas, and rewatching our favorite movies. I was honored to be a bridesmaid in her wedding - now she gets to be in mine!
Best Man
My brother from another mother. Rob and I met over a decade ago during my Co-op at FM Global where a life long friendship of technology and fun sprang from a shared cubicle. From that point forward Rob invited me into his friend circle and many of those people are now friends for life. From our many many trips to a new or old brewery to our trip to Japan where we made it through the second door in that weird club in Japan. I can't wait to see what adventures we find next.
Bridesmaid
Over a decade of friendship with this wonderful woman. I lived with Rachel for 2 years before I bought my first house. She is the most welcoming, accepting, and fiercely loyal person I have ever met. She was one of the first people to experience "Nurse Andrea" after an unfortunate encounter with a mandoline slicer. She fully supports my chocolate chip cookie addiction. She has the loudest laugh and it's wonderful. I am so thankful to have her by my side on the big day.
Groomsman
My brother from the same mother. The person who has been by my side for as long as I can remember. He made me an uncle to my two favorite nieces, Brooklynn and Olivia. One of my favorite recent memories with my brother was going to a few breweries. Where he got to try and ultimately learn after 3 breweries and several different styles of beer that he does not enjoy craft beer. He was quite a trooper through the whole experience and to this day will still try anything that I put in front of him.
Bridesmaid
My older sister, my rock through my 20s, and made me an auntie to the most adorable curly haired boy, Reid, and sweet pupper Phoebe. In our 20s we traveled to explore new cities like Seattle and Chicago, eating all the good food and drinking all the coffee. She joined me on two of my medical missions trips to Haiti. She quickly learned how to rock the pharmacy table and saw "Nurse Andrea" in a whole new way. I am honored to have her stand next to me on the big day.
Groomsman
Matt B or tall Matt depending on who is around. He has been a friend for over a decade and is always up for a conversation about the latest super hero movie or tv show. If that is not your style, Matt is well versed in almost every type of sports ball around. Matt somehow always makes time to spend with friends even with his demanding social schedule and taking time to bring his best companion Lincoln on walks.
Bridesmaid
My younger sister and the mother to my adorable niece and nephew, Nate and Nora. She has always been so intentional about loving and caring for our family - offering wise advice in difficult situations, making people feel special, and demonstrating a healthy marriage and communication. For my 30th birthday, we did a sisters trip to NYC. Emily was our tour guide and made the weekend very special. The highlight was a jazz bar we stumbled upon after a comedy show.
Groomsman
Matt M or Marty as we affectionately call him when there are other Matts around. Marty became a true friend during the pandemic when many a long night was spent talking online instead of being in person. Marty is always the guy you want around to add some good jokes to the party. This past fall in celebration of Matt B's birthday we went to on a disco cruise and of course Marty shows up with an afro wig to liven up his attire.
